Jessica’s fascination with movement began when she was enrolled in dance class at the age of 2. Since then, she has expressed her love for movement through dance, soccer, martial arts, rock climbing, and of course yoga. In 2009, in an attempt to nurture a climbing injury, she picked up a yoga class and discovered an endless journey of self awareness. Honoring the profound transformation that was taking place both on and off her mat, she chose to embark on a 200 hour Immersion/Teacher Training with Bridget Lyons and Tiffany Wood. Having suffered and recovered from various sports injuries, Jessica has an understanding of how to give the body what it needs to recuperate. Coupling her passion for yoga and body mechanics with a certificate for Physical Therapy Aide, years of experience in the health field as a Certified Nursing Assistant, and various trainings and workshops in Essential Oils, Body Alignment and Structural-Muscular Balancing, Jessica is well equipped and has a passionate desire to use her knowledge to help others in their own individual pursuit of a healthy lifestyle. Her teaching brings the physical alignment and body awareness into a relationship with mental and emotional wellbeing by emphasizing the mind-body connection and exploring the depth of interactions between our physical selves, and our mental/emotional/spiritual selves.
